Asya Bradley Joins Stripe as Head of Startup & VC Partnerships

Asya Bradley has embarked on a new career path by joining Stripe as the head of Startup & Venture Capital Partnerships. Announcing her new role on LinkedIn on February 2, Bradley brought attention to her transition, although she began her journey with Stripe back in November. With a rich background as a fintech founder and investor, Bradley's expertise is expected to enhance Stripe's engagements with startups and venture capital firms.

Bradley's career trajectory includes a significant stint as the Vice President of Revenue at Sila, a startup where she contributed for five months. Her foray into venture capitalism saw her align with igniteXL Ventures as a venture partner for a year. Moreover, she co-founded Kinly, a financial services startup designed to serve Black Americans. Kinly, which had previously operated under the names First Boulevard and Tenth, was acquired in 2023 by Greenwood, a digital banking platform catering to Black and Latino communities.

In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Bradley holds limited partner positions in various venture funds such as Cowboy Ventures and Ganas Ventures. Furthermore, she actively participates in the investment committee of the Cap Table Coalition, an initiative committed to including historically marginalized investors in the investment process.

Bradley's professional journey also includes a notable tenure at Synapse, where she served as the Chief Revenue Officer for three years. Unfortunately, Synapse ceased operations in 2024, leaving many customers in an unexpected predicament. Despite this setback, Bradley's leadership was instrumental in securing approximately $20 million in funding for Kinly from prominent investors like Gabrielle Union, Marshawn Lynch, and Kevin Durant.
