Tiger Woods Faces Injuries but Poised for Senior Tour Success

Britain’s darling Andy Murray, the first tennis player to achieve a knighthood, is out of action with a ruptured Achilles’ tendon like golfing great Tiger Woods. According to fellow golfing legend, Jack Nicklaus, who once, I hear, stood about as tall as Tiger in his prime — it all depends. Anderson said he was confident Woods would be able to thrive in this new chapter of his career.

“Tiger will be 50 next year. I believe he’ll probably play the senior tour and he’ll probably dominate the senior tour,” – Nicklaus

Nicklaus’ competitive nature would push him to come back to the game he loves. So unfortunately, prize money is not going to be the biggest factor that sways Woods to join us on the over-50s tour. Woods is going to focus on other metrics first.

“Tiger is too much of a competitor to not play,” – Nicklaus

“Tiger has had his issues, and he’s overcome most all of them each time he’s had them. I fully expect him to do that again,” – Nicklaus
