In front of a jubilant home crowd at Racecourse Ground, Wrexham maintained their dominance over the match to come. In the 81st minute, Smith earned himself a brace. He finished off a great cross from Max Cleworth, volleying the ball over Charlton’s keeper, Will Mannion. With this victory, Wrexham clinched second place in the league with an impressive total of 89 points, with only one game remaining in the season.
