Euronews and “Water Matters”: A new digital series that exposes our ecosystems under threat. It examines good wastewater management as one of the most powerful drivers to address the continent’s water crisis and advance sustainable development.
The “Water Matters” program takes viewers on a journey across Europe, showcasing innovative solutions and practices that address pressing water issues. It highlights the harmful effects of anthropogenic activities on our water resources whilst stressing the importance of effective and sustainable management practices. Visual assets—most importantly a strong featured image—capture people’s attention and communicate the feel of the program. This fun and hands-on method allows them to understand the importance of water conservation.
Yet, today Europe is confronted by serious and multifaceted water challenges. Our new Ecosystem program Protecting nature is the only way to ensure our water sources are safe and sustainable over the long term. The seven-part series educates readers on the best practices for wastewater management while addressing successful case studies from around the country. In doing so, these examples provide a roadmap for other jurisdictions grappling with similar challenges.
