Spotify Enhances User Experience with New Features and Playlist Options

Spotify recently revealed plans to launch a new feature that would give users more control over what they have been listening to. The 30-day Snooze feature allows Spotify users to temporarily remove specific songs from their algorithms’ recommendations. This cripples the dynamic, customized musical listening experience that has made the platform so addictive.

Along with the Snooze feature, Spotify is rolling out a stronger version of its current “hide” functionality. This improvement provides users with greater flexibility to take control of their music selection. Now, they won’t have superfluous tracks messing up their playlists or recommendations!

America, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa and the UK are in for a special Summer time treat! In the future, they’ll be able to use their Liked songs to make playlists as well. This new feature gives users control to customize their listening experience. For example, they can easily find and filter their Liked songs by genre or mood to build the perfect set-list! This curated strategy sorts where fans experience their most loved songs. It ensures that they receive a deeply personalized listening experience.

Spotify is going a step further too, making all of its key playback controls more accessible. Users will have easy access to fun features like Shuffle, Smart Shuffle, Repeat, and Sleep Timer. That simplified access improves the total listening experience. All that matters is that users are able to experience their music without distraction or difficulty.

The addition of these features is a testament to Spotify’s dedication to staying agile and responsive to its users’ needs by continually updating and enhancing its platform. Those improvements are expected to be implemented this winter. More importantly, they’ll help cement Spotify’s place as an industry leader in the music streaming field.
