Founded in 2024, Tensor9 is transforming how fast and flexible software products are deployed. They use state-of-the-art digital twin technology to improve vendor performance across multiple conditions. In charge is the project’s co-founder and CEO Michael Ten-Pow. No wonder his goal is to make the deployment and monitoring of software as easy to consume as possible. From this unique in premise, cloud agnostic approach the Tensor9 platform allows businesses to move any software anywhere, instantly.
The company’s groundbreaking implementation of digital twin technology empowers safe and powerful remote monitoring. This is a key capability as organizations across sectors continue to look to maximize the benefit from their software investments across varied operational environments. Tensor9 uses simulation to make a virtual twin of the physical world. This improvement increases software productivity deployment agnostically.
Ten-Pow, along with co-founders Michie and Shanker, founded Tensor9. Their mission is to solve the complex problems that all software vendors experience, particularly in achieving SOC 2 certification, the most important cybersecurity compliance framework. “I spent time figuring out how to make it easier for software vendors to get SOC 2 certified,” Ten-Pow stated. This emphasis on security compliance strikes a chord with investors familiar with the plight of their portfolio companies navigating parallel mandates.
Tensor9’s first year operates on a bootstrapped model, showing early signs of a commitment to growth and sustainability over the long term. Earlier this year, the company closed out a $4 million successful round of seed funding, led by Wing VC. Other participants included Level Up Ventures, Max B, Devang Sachdev of Model Ventures, and NVAngels. Second, NVAngels is an angel group formed primarily by former Nvidia employees. This round of support from these high-quality investors is a reflection of the confidence in Tensor9’s vision and its capacity to solve critical industry challenges.
This seed funding will help Tensor9 build out its cutting edge capabilities and continue evolving offerings to software vendors. As Ten-Pow explained, it’s critical to prepare for the dynamic, ubiquitous, and always-changing software deployment environment. “There’s been an evolution from on-premise to the cloud, and we think that this idea of software lives where it needs to and operates where it needs to is that next step—a synthesis of the previous on-premise and cloud ideas,” he explained.
Through this partnership, Tensor9 now works with leading AI companies like 11x, Retell AI and Dyna AI. These partnerships help Tensor9 sharpen their service offerings and gain deeper insights into the software deployment landscape. As Ten-Pow explained, the challenges around actually rolling out this software can’t be overstated. “You can’t just throw a piece of software over the wall, or it’s very difficult to throw a piece of software over the wall and know what’s going on, be able to find issues, debug them, fix them,” he remarked.
The company’s technology overcomes these challenges by creating a connected environment that allows software to function seamlessly. “We have a simple model but underneath the covers there’s a lot of complexity that makes that happen. There are hard technical challenges that we’ve solved to make that happen,” Ten-Pow added.
Needless to say, Tensor9 is in high demand and making waves through the eyes of the tech ecosystem. It is focused on driving the kind of market-leading innovation that today’s software vendors require. By leveraging both digital twin technology and robust compliance measures, Tensor9 positions itself as a leader in facilitating efficient software deployment in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
