With its launch, users can access the tool through a newly redesigned webpage, firefly.adobe.com, and within the Premiere Pro Beta app. Adobe aims to revolutionize content creation with this innovative technology by offering various subscription tiers that accommodate different levels of video production needs.
The Standard plan, priced at $9.99 per month, provides users with 2,000 credits, enabling the creation of 20 five-second AI videos. This plan also includes unlimited access to Adobe's AI image and vector generating features. For more extensive needs, the Pro plan is available at $29.99 per month, offering enough credits to produce 70 five-second AI videos each month. Users seeking even more robust capabilities can anticipate the upcoming "Premium" tier, which will allow for the creation of 500 AI videos monthly, although Adobe has not yet disclosed the exact release date for this option.
Adobe Firefly distinguishes itself by focusing on intellectual property safety and commercial use. Alexandru Costin, a key figure at Adobe, notes the importance of this aspect:

The Generative Extend feature allows users to prolong a video clip and its background noise by a few seconds, offering greater flexibility in editing and production. Furthermore, Firefly's video model can transform text or images into a five-second AI-generated video, reflecting Adobe's focus on innovation.
Users who wish to integrate Firefly with their existing Adobe suite can connect their Firefly plans to their Creative Cloud accounts. This connection grants them unlimited AI image and vector generation capabilities within popular Adobe applications like Photoshop and Express.
