Anthropic only today released its new enterprise-oriented subscription plan, Max. As part of this plan, users can get early access to their AI chatbot, Claude. The new lineup includes two tiers, $100 and $200 a month. Yet this initiative is still a significant step for Anthropic. The goal is to find out how to establish alternative revenue streams to address the costs associated with creating state-of-the-art frontier AI models.
For heavier users, the Max Enterprise Plan allows companies and other commercial developers to pay for higher rate limits. Usage at the $100-per-month level tier is five times the usage limits of the current $20-per-month Claude Pro subscription. Conversely, the $200-per-month one provides subscribers with a truly staggering twenty-fold greater rate limits than Claude Pro. This dynamic pricing model is intended to align with user needs for increased usage of Anthropic’s powerful features and functionality.
Max also expands our usage limits and includes access to priority availability of Anthropic’s newest AI models and features. We launched this premium option in direct response to OpenAI’s ChatGPT Pro tier premium offering. Both services are $200 a month each. By providing a pricier but hugely more valuable option, Anthropic hopes to win over customers in search of state of the art AI technology.
