Colapinto Takes the Wheel at Alpine as Doohan Steps Aside

The Alpine Formula One team has thrown down a big gauntlet. They’ve replaced local lad Jack Doohan with Franco Colapinto for the remainder of the season’s five races. This would pave the way for Flavio Briatore to be installed as the new Executive Advisor and eventual team principal.

Colapinto’s promotion to the F1 grid represents a new beginning for him and Alpine. Together, they are focused on re-establishing their dominant performance off the track.
