Conclave and The Brutalist Shine Bright at EE Bafta Film Awards

Conclave and The Brutalist emerged as the standout winners at the recent EE Bafta Film Awards. Held in London, the event saw Brady Corbet take home the Best Director award for his work on Conclave, which was crowned Best Film. The film's success didn't stop there; it also garnered awards for Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Outstanding British Film.

The evening was a triumph for Conclave's creative team. Daniel Blumberg's composition earned the Best Original Score accolade, adding to the film's impressive haul. Meanwhile, Mikey Madison captivated audiences and judges alike with her portrayal of a sex worker in Anora, winning her the title of Best Leading Actress.

The Brutalist also made a significant impact at the ceremony. Adrien Brody's compelling performance earned him the Best Leading Actor award, while Zoe Saldaña was named Best Supporting Actress. The film shared its four-award success with Conclave, marking a notable achievement for both productions.

Dune: Part Two also secured recognition in technical categories, winning Best Special Visual Effects and Best Sound. These accolades highlight the film's commitment to creating an immersive auditory and visual experience.

A Real Pain was another notable winner at the event. Jesse Eisenberg's writing won him Best Original Screenplay, and Kieran Culkin's performance secured him the Best Supporting Actor award. These victories underscore the film's strong storytelling and dynamic performances.

Emilia Perez received acclaim as well, winning the Best Non-English Language Film award for Emilia Perez. This recognition celebrates its storytelling prowess beyond language barriers.
