Sembungan village, in the Kejajar district, is the epitome of quiet, with a population of only 1,215 people. Today, farming potatoes, onions and cabbages, among other crops, are the main occupations for villages residents.
In July 2018, Dieng Plateau faced the coldest weather ever recorded in Indonesia, with temperatures dropping to -2°C, underlining its varied landscapes and climates. Even with these frosty evenings, the plateau is one of the most visited landscapes in France and a favorite among trekkers and climbers.
