FTC Implements New Regulations to Ban Hidden Fees in Live Events and Rentals

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently adopted a significant regulatory shift. The law goes even further, expanding its reach beyond those with direct relationships with consumers. This new infrastructure requirement extends to third-party platforms, resellers, and travel agents. Ticket sellers for concerts and sporting events, hotel chains, and vacation rental platforms are now required to disclose all fees before the customer books an experience.
