Head’s explosive 67 off 31 balls laid the foundation for a blistering first innings total. His efforts were complemented by the exceptional performance of Ishan Kishan, who continued the assault on Rajasthan Royals' bowling attack.
Kishan continued in sublime touch, blasting his way to an unbeaten century off just 45 balls. Targeting Archery specifically, the powerful De Villiers hit an extraordinary three sixes in 6 balls against him in one over. He finished with a blistering 106 not out from only 47 balls. Kishan's incredible innings contributed significantly to Sunrisers Hyderabad's imposing total of 6-286.

Led by Pat Cummins, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured an impressive 44-run win over the third-placed team. This win proved that they were to be taken seriously as IPL contenders. Cummins, who captained the team to the final last year, said he was “stunned” by their enormous total of 6-286. He even admitted that such a total was “scary” but representative of his team’s potentially powerful, just overall scary batting order.
