Kanye West Returns to Social Media with Controversial Content

Kanye West, the 47-year-old rapper, has made a return to the social media platform X. Despite his reappearance, his account remains flagged for "sensitive content." This warning is visible to users who are not logged in, indicating the nature of the content on his page. West's previous controversial posts have mostly been removed, with one post from February 10 still visible, reading, "Good afternoon and good night.(sic)."

Before deactivating his account, Kanye expressed gratitude toward Elon Musk for allowing him to use the platform as an outlet.

"I'm logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent." – Kanye West

In addition, he equated his experience on the platform to a profound personal journey.

"It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board. It was like an Ayahuasca trip." – Kanye West

West's account on X was previously categorized as "NSFW" (Not Safe For Work) by Elon Musk following several offensive posts, including declarations of admiration for Adolf Hitler and self-identification as a Nazi. Musk confirmed this classification after West's swastika T-shirt, described by West as his "greatest performance art piece thus far," was revealed to have been in development for several years. The shirt is now available on his Yeezy.com store.

"Given what he posted, his account is now classified as NSFW." – Elon Musk

The rapper's statements and merchandise have sparked significant controversy, leading to the termination of deals with various major brands in the past. Despite this, Kanye remains unapologetic about his comments.

"I'm never apologising for my Jewish comments." – Kanye West

This latest return to X marks another chapter in Kanye West's ongoing saga of public controversies. His actions continue to elicit strong reactions from both supporters and critics alike.
