In an effort to improve Reddit’s Reddit Pro suite for businesses, Reddit has announced a slew of new profile features. This suite of tools allows brands to better find, understand, and connect with the dynamic communities across the platform. It further empowers them to interact with these communities and participate in important conversations. With significant growth in user engagement and revenue, Reddit aims to provide businesses with more effective means to establish their presence and credibility.
For context, in its most recent fiscal quarter, Reddit brought in about $392.4 million in revenue. This accomplishment marks a huge 61% jump over last year’s total. This surge comes as the platform experiences a rise in daily active unique users, reaching 108.1 million—a 31% jump year-over-year. Together, these numbers emphasize Reddit’s strength in the face of an increasingly uncertain economic picture and its success in appealing to and keeping a diverse, wide-ranging user base.
The profile tools, which were just rolled out, now include a Trends tab. This monitoring tool provides businesses with the ability to monitor conversations on any given topics by mapping out keywords and phrases. This new feature has been live since earlier this year. Today, brands have an unprecedented lens into how users are talking about their vertical space or niche product. Companies are now able to submit their company website URL and choose from provided short descriptions to further their Reddit Pro profile.
Reddit Pro profiles offer businesses the same giant billboard space to feature the most relevant community posts and comments. This special feature is designed to assist an influx of companies who will cross-post relevant discussions related to their business or industry. Read these featured conversations in the Trends Tab. These capabilities are designed to enhance business engagement with the community on the platform, as well as encourage community engagement.
