Before clashing with South Africa, England is scheduled to meet Afghanistan, which could influence the group dynamics significantly.
"Everyone is good. Klaasen has recovered from the fitness (issue). That adds a lot of value and the team spirit is good," said Temba Bavuma.
The South African team will take a brief respite before their crucial encounter against England. A win against England will secure their place in the last four, a goal that hinges on playing at their best. Bavuma emphasized the importance of this match and the quality of their opponent.
"I think that becomes another important game. England on paper are one of the stronger sides, so we know that as a group we'll have to play to our best," Bavuma stated.
The abandoned match against Australia adds pressure to the upcoming game against England. The South African squad is keenly aware that every point matters as they aim to solidify their semi-final berth.
"We'll get to see them (England)… when they go against Afghanistan. That will give us a better idea in terms of what the table will look like and what we need to do," Bavuma added.
