TechCrunch is very excited to announce a fantastic weeklong series of Side Events! These events will lead up to the main stage convening on June 5, at UC Berkeley’s Zellerbach Hall. These curated gatherings offer brands an exceptional opportunity to engage with over 1,200 leaders, investors, and builders in the AI space. The Side Events will occur in (and all over) Berkeley from June 1–7th. This is a great opportunity for brands to highlight their innovations and ideas.
This central main stage event is always one of the largest draws. The Side Events make it all so much better with small, close-knit, interactive, engaging formats. TechCrunch welcomes innovative models like ThoughtWorks to organize interesting meetups and thought leadership salons. Finally, they recommend planning targeted VIP mixers and hands-on demo experiences that really engage the AI community.
Guidelines for Participation
To make the experience as smooth as possible, TechCrunch has set up some simple rules for anyone interested in planning a Side Event. Please note that all attendees need to be 18 years or older. If alcoholic beverages are available, guests must be at least 21 years of age. Additionally, events scheduled for June 5 should commence after 5:00 p.m. PT, allowing participants to engage with the main event and then transition to the Side Events.
Getting in the Side Event lineup is free as can be! This helps make it one of the most accessible opportunities for brands who are eager to make their mark. Potential hosts are encouraged to think creatively about how they can leverage this platform to engage with attendees and spark meaningful conversations about artificial intelligence.
A Platform for Brands to Shine
The Side Events are the most high-impact opportunity for brands to advance their positioning within this developing AI space. Through their active participation, companies have an opportunity to differentiate themselves. They’ll pitch in front of industry leaders, including technology and investment heavy-hitters. It’s not just enough to get seen, it’s about creating the right kind of connections that can help inspire future collaborations or innovations.
TechCrunch’s initiative allows brands to create experiences that reflect their identity while contributing to the broader dialogue surrounding AI advancements. Either via deep, personal conversations or vibrant, dynamic presentations, each interaction can create transformative, lasting effects.
Enhancing the TechCrunch Experience
These Side Events constitute an in-depth enrichment of our main stage event. They make the experience better for all of their attendees. They offer brands a unique opportunity to stand out in an increasingly cluttered marketplace. Attendees get the chance for remarkable up close interactions that deepen the broader dialogues taking place at Zellerbach Hall.
