Actor Tom Holland, known for his role in "Spider-Man: Homecoming," has embarked on a new venture with the launch of his non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero. The 28-year-old actor, who chose to give up drinking in 2022, noticed a gap in the market for stylish, non-alcoholic beverages after feeling self-conscious ordering them in pubs. Bero, which currently offers an IPA, a wheat beer, and a pilsner, aims to provide non-drinkers with comfortable and appealing options. Initially available in the United States, the brand will soon make its debut in the United Kingdom this month.
Holland's decision to create Bero stemmed from his personal experiences and passion for the project. Despite receiving numerous offers for brand deals, he opted to invest in his own venture.
"I've always wanted to do something like this, I just never came across anything that I felt particularly passionate about." – Tom Holland
The design of Bero was inspired by the prevalent blue labels found in many existing non-alcoholic beer brands. Holland noted the commonality among major labels like Becks, Heineken, Guinness, and Corona, all of which incorporate blue in their packaging.
"A lot of the labels of non-alcoholic beers are blue. You've got Becks blue. Heineken is blue. Guinness is blue. Corona is blue." – Tom Holland
In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Holland remains active in his acting career and personal life. He is engaged to fellow Hollywood star Zendaya, with whom he made their relationship public in 2021. The couple shares a strong bond both on and off the screen, as reflected in Zendaya's sentiments about working alongside him.
"It's actually strangely comfortable. It's like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you're acting beside. I love working with him." – Zendaya
Holland's dedication to his craft is evident both in his acting and business endeavors. Known for giving his all, even when fatigued, he applies the same level of commitment to Bero as he does to his film roles.
