Finches raises €2 million for agricultural supply-risk platform
The Bavarian agritech company plans to use the pre-seed investment to develop its product and expand sales.

Bavarian agritech start-up Finches has secured €2 million in pre-seed financing to support its platform for businesses sourcing agricultural raw materials. High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) led the round, alongside co-lead Vanagon Ventures.
Bayern Kapital joined as a new investor. UnternehmerTUM Funding for Innovators, an existing backer, also contributed further funding, as did a syndicate of strategic investors from industry and technology. Finches plans to put the money towards faster product development and an expansion of its sales operations.
The company says its platform brings together procurement records, such as contracts, supplier details and cultivated acreage, with weather data, satellite images, local reporting, scientific information and agronomists’ field observations. The system is designed to flag potential disruptions and pinpoint exposed regions and supply chains, giving buyers more time to adjust before production is affected.
Finches Intelligence launched in September 2026. Its initial customers include a leading manufacturer of organic baby food and a food conglomerate based in North America that belongs to the Fortune 500. Chief executive and co-founder Catharina van Delden said earlier warnings could help procurement teams arrange alternative suppliers, purchase sooner or change production schedules.
