Italy’s SimpL raises €1.2 million for AI sales system
Techshop Capital led the pre-seed round, with Vento Ventures and business angels also investing. The startup charges clients for qualified meetings rather than subscriptions.

Italian startup SimpL has secured €1.2 million in pre-seed investment to develop an AI system for finding business-to-business sales opportunities. It plans to spend the funding on its product, technology and team.
Techshop Capital led the financing, joined by Vento Ventures and several business angels. Based in Milan, SimpL was founded by Nicolò Fugallo, Raffaele Scarano and Luca Marco Agnoli.
The company says its technology analyses publicly available information, such as job adverts, corporate web pages and news, without buying external datasets. It links businesses, individuals and interactions in a proprietary knowledge graph, then uses deep learning to predict whom sales teams should approach, the timing and the message.
According to SimpL, the system integrates with existing email, CRM and calendar tools and can handle outreach and conversations up to arranging a meeting. Its next actions depend on recipients’ replies rather than fixed messaging sequences, while unsuccessful exchanges also feed into future decisions.
Clients pay for qualified meetings that actually happen, instead of per-user subscriptions or upfront charges. CEO and co-founder Nicolò Fugallo said the aim was an integrated process that learns through interaction, rather than another standalone sales tool.
The startup has also opened SimpL House in Milan, bringing research, product work and business development into one space. The company intends the initiative to attract talent and connect technology development with customer needs.
