Berlin-based Nox Mobility says it plans to begin overnight services between Hamburg and Munich on 23 March 2027. The company's first route will operate three times weekly in both directions, calling at Bremen and Augsburg.

Fares start at €65 for a one-way journey. Passengers will have individual spaces called “Nox Suites”, equipped with a large seat, a table, luggage storage and power sockets. The seat converts into a reclining lounge configuration at night, giving passengers two metres of space beside the window.

Private sleeping cabins were part of the company's original plans for its 2027 launch, but it now intends to introduce them in stages. Its “Nox Rooms”, accommodating one or two passengers, are scheduled to enter the fleet from 2029. Nox Mobility has also outlined plans to connect 100 European cities by 2035, including Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Budapest and Rome.

The planned southbound timetable has trains departing Hamburg at 9:22 pm and reaching Bremen at 10:30 pm. They would stop at Augsburg at 7:35 am before arriving in Munich at 8:14 am.

Northbound services are planned to depart Munich at 9:20 pm, with calls at Augsburg at 9:51 pm and Bremen at 7:20 am. Arrival in Hamburg is scheduled for 8:27 am.
