Autentic AI has raised €1.5 million in a pre-seed round backed by Masia VC, Acurio Ventures, Lanai Ventures and Baobab Ventures. The company will put the money towards greater automation of its research process and a network of its own verified consumers and industry experts.

The platform uses artificial intelligence to interview hundreds of people simultaneously and analyse their answers, while human researchers interpret the findings. Autentic AI says this approach can bring the time needed for market research down to days, rather than weeks or months.

The company reports conducting about 1,000 interviews a day and anticipates completing more than 400,000 by the end of 2026. Its customers span retail, fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, strategy consulting and private equity.

Participants receive payment and are verified. Clients can check findings against interview videos, and results can be grouped by characteristics including product usage, age and region. Autentic AI says having its own participant network will help it control research quality and depend less on outside panels.

Dani Diestre founded the company alongside Aniol Carreras and Jacob Bamio. Diestre, its co-founder and co-CEO, said the aim was to enable companies to seek customer feedback through research every week.
