YGO raises €8 million to expand AI travel platform
Ventech led the Series A round, with the funding intended to support platform development, sales and expansion beyond the DACH region.

Travel technology company YGO has raised €8 million in Series A financing to develop its artificial intelligence platform and reach more customers. Ventech led the investment, joined by Caesar Capital, Sake Bosch and business angels.
YGO plans to put the capital towards sales, go-to-market activities and further platform development. It is targeting enterprise and mid-sized travel businesses as it seeks customers outside the DACH region.
Founded by Julian Kögel, Willi Ibbeken and Sebastian Kreutzberger, YGO says its technology lets travel businesses add AI search, recommendations, customer service and booking functions without replacing their existing systems. It links suppliers to conventional booking channels as well as AI assistants.
The platform structures fragmented information about hotels and other travel products so AI systems can process it. YGO aims to give suppliers more direct access to AI booking channels and greater control over customer relationships.
YGO handles bookings for European travel businesses including GetAway Group, Condor and Bentour. The company says an airline customer cut manual operations by 90 per cent and increased conversion rates by 20 per cent. It reports that a separate customer achieved a 2.4-fold rise in average order value without adding staff.
Ralf Usbeck, who founded TravelTainment and Peakwork, has also joined the team.
