CyberKord raises €2.7 million for AI cybersecurity platform
The Milan start-up plans pilot projects with large European companies and intends to hire for technical and commercial roles.

Italian start-up CyberKord has secured €2.7 million in pre-seed financing to develop a platform intended to automate IT operations and cybersecurity work. The investment was led by 360 Capital, alongside Plus Partners, Addendum Capital and Vento.
CyberKord plans to use the money to advance development and begin its first pilots with large European companies in manufacturing, technology, healthcare and telecommunications. It also intends to add technical and commercial staff.
The company says its platform combines AI with a digital twin of a business's IT infrastructure to investigate problems, test possible remedies and carry out corrective actions. The aim is to reduce the manual work needed between detecting a threat and resolving it.
According to CyberKord, security alerts, support tickets and messages on Microsoft Teams or Slack can trigger the system. It can then establish the cause, simulate a fix and apply it through tools the customer already uses.
The company says the platform works with both cloud and on-premise systems. Customers can set its degree of autonomy, and its actions are logged for review. Alessandro Maggio, co-founder and CEO, said the goal was to free specialists for architecture, projects and decisions rather than routine operational tasks.
Maggio founded CyberKord in Milan in 2026 with Dragos Tanasa and Cosimo Michelagnoli.
