Jaguar unveils electric Type01EV with European deliveries expected in 2027
European entry-level prices will be around €140,000 to €150,000, while customised versions can exceed €200,000.

Jaguar has presented the Type01EV, an electric four-door GT, at a launch in New York. It is the British manufacturer's first new model following its 2024 rebrand. The order book is scheduled to open in early 2027, and European deliveries are expected to begin during the second half of 2027.
The car has 1,015 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 2.2 seconds. Its stated range is 478 miles (769km). Charging can add 200 miles (321km) of range in 13 minutes, while a charge from 10 to 80 per cent takes 22 minutes.
Measuring 5.2 metres in length, 2 metres in width and 1.4 metres in height, the Type01EV weighs 2,700 kilograms. Prices for base versions in Europe will begin at around €140,000 to €150,000; bespoke specifications and customisation can push the cost above €200,000.
Jaguar says the model is its first production vehicle to use Jaguar Electric Architecture, its dedicated platform for a new generation of cars. The company also says the Type01EV was designed, engineered and built in the UK.
