Beyond Vision has raised more than €28 million, with chief executive Dário Pedro saying the money will fund increased production, technology development and expansion into new international markets. The company makes unmanned aerial systems and vehicles.

Pedro said the investment will strengthen operations and increase industrial manufacturing capacity. Research and development spending will also accelerate, with work on advanced artificial intelligence algorithms and additional features for the company’s cloud management platform.

The commercial expansion will target defence, security and critical infrastructure monitoring. Beyond Vision develops drones powered by AI alongside cloud-based software for managing them, and is registered as a NATO supplier.

The fundraising follows an expansion of its workforce to 150 people. Revenue exceeded its estimate for 2025, while its military and civilian customer base has grown across several countries.

Tomás Lavin Peixe, Head of Venture Capital at Lince Capital, said increased European defence investment and the geopolitical environment were opening opportunities for technology companies able to compete internationally.

Established in 2013, Beyond Vision initially focused on software development. Pedro leads the company alongside chairman Luís Miguel Campos.
