Rabot Energy raises US$50 million for German energy platform expansion
The electricity tariff provider plans to connect more household energy devices and grow its customer base to one million.

Endeit led a US$50 million Series B funding round for Rabot Energy alongside the DeepTech & Climate Fonds (DTCF). Rabot plans to put the money towards technology development and a broader range of electricity services in Germany.
The expansion targets residential users as well as commercial and industrial customers. Rabot aims to serve one million customers and add more heat pumps, home batteries and electric vehicle chargers to its connected network.
Rabot's dynamic tariffs shift customers' electricity consumption automatically towards cheaper periods with greater renewable power availability. Its platform also manages connected batteries, charging them when renewable generation is abundant and drawing on stored electricity when supply is lower.
A virtual power plant model being developed by the company would coordinate electricity use and battery storage among households. The aim is to give the grid more flexibility.
Rabot Flow, introduced in June 2026, bundles a home battery with a smart meter and dynamic electricity tariff. The company says the package can lower household energy costs by 15 per cent. Its battery uses an ordinary socket and needs no rooftop solar installation, making it usable by renters too.
Rabot has reached revenue of €200 million and more than 200,000 customers over three and a half years. Its customer base includes around 15,000 commercial and industrial clients.
Existing backers also joined the financing: HV Capital, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Bosch Ventures, CNI, Acurio Ventures and vent.io.
