Revolut plans private technology investment platform for 2027
Developed with Carne Group, Revolut Ventures will let eligible investors access unlisted technology companies through the Revolut app.

Revolut announced on 26 October 2026 that it expects its new Revolut Ventures platform to become available in 2027. Developed with Carne Group, the service is intended to open private technology investments to eligible users.
The platform will sit within the Revolut app, which already offers investments in shares, exchange-traded funds, bonds and money market funds. It follows the introduction of private-market products in selected countries of the European Economic Area in July 2026.
Rolandas Juteika, Head of Revolut Wealth and Trading (EEA), said the company aims to broaden retail access to unlisted businesses, a market traditionally dominated by wealthy individuals and large institutions.
Figures cited by Revolut put the median age of technology companies when they listed at 11 years in 2025, compared with 6.9 years in 2014. More growth therefore takes place before their shares reach public markets.
Private-company investments carry significant risks: selling them is harder than selling publicly traded shares, and investors may lose much or all of the capital they invest.
