Arke Telekom secures €1 million for drone communications technology
ACT Venture Partners has backed the company, which plans to expand internationally and develop products for more types of unmanned systems.

Arke Telekom has raised €1 million from deeptech investor ACT Venture Partners to support its communications technology for unmanned aircraft. The company plans to use the funding to enter international markets and extend its product range to other unmanned systems.
Its ArkeLink technology combines software-defined radio with a mesh network that can organise itself and recover from disrupted connections. According to the company, the system is designed to redirect communications automatically when individual links fail, helping aircraft stay connected amid electronic warfare, jamming and satellite navigation disruption.
Co-founder and chief technology officer Barış Karadeniz said the aim was to combine resistance to jamming with an adaptable network in a compact system suitable for different unmanned platforms. Defence is the main market for ArkeLink, with potential uses also including disaster response, rescue operations, public safety and critical infrastructure.
Arke Telekom has also gained a place in NATO DIANA, a defence technology accelerator offering testing facilities and connections to industry partners and international networks. Co-founder and chief executive Dr. Saygun Önay said the investor's technical expertise and international contacts could help the company expand.
