Citroën unveils electric concept inspired by the 2CV
The French carmaker plans production within two years and expects a starting price of around €15,000.

Citroën presented an electric concept car in Paris on 12 October 2026, drawing on its classic 2CV. The French manufacturer says it plans to put the model into production within two years.
The company expects the car to be built in Europe and to have a starting price of around €15,000. It remains a concept rather than a production vehicle.
At 3.76 metres long, the design combines minimalist styling with a roomy interior and electric technology. Citroën aims to retain the simplicity and affordability associated with the original Deux Chevaux while adapting it to contemporary mobility needs.
