1KOMMA5° valued at US$1.35 billion as it plans energy AI investment
The Hamburg-based company plans to put more than €100 million into its Heartbeat platform in 2027 and is considering entering the US market.

German energy technology company 1KOMMA5° has secured a US$1.35 billion valuation through its latest funding round. It plans a 2027 investment of more than €100 million in Heartbeat, its artificial intelligence platform for managing energy.
The platform is intended to automate tasks such as metering, electricity trading and billing. It forms part of the Hamburg-based company's work on home electrification.
Chief executive Philipp Schröder said investor interest was one reason the company was considering a move into the United States. A US initial public offering also remains an option, with Schröder saying the company's 2027 financial performance would help determine the timing and whether it proceeds.
The company put earlier plans for a US listing on hold in April 2025, amid uncertainty in markets associated with President Donald Trump's policies on trade and renewable energy.
For the 2026 financial year, 1KOMMA5° is targeting revenue of approximately US$750 million. The company has reaffirmed that target.
