Orbit Capital has backed Poland’s Coding Giants with a venture debt facility worth up to €6 million, providing financing for the education company’s international growth plans.

The company intends to put most of the funding towards developing its US and Mexican operations. It has an office in Mexico and is also targeting opportunities in Spain and elsewhere, with plans encompassing both acquisitions and organic expansion.

Coding Giants was established eight years ago and offers children and teenagers courses in mathematics, artificial intelligence and coding. It is active in 13 markets across the Americas and Europe, having reached over 130,000 students.

Co-founder Dawid Leśniewicz said the company wanted students to understand and help create technology, rather than merely learn to operate particular tools. Its teaching combines technical instruction with practical activities intended to develop analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Explaining the financing decision, Orbit Capital’s Jakub Kaczmarek pointed to the model’s scalability, rising demand for the courses and the team’s experience of expanding internationally.
