Prismus secures €163,000 from Venture Kick for research platform
The deeptech startup has thirty paying customers and will use the funding to expand in deep tech markets and add individual users.

Venture Kick has provided Prismus with €163,000 to advance its Lupa platform, which uses artificial intelligence to link scientific findings with opportunities in industry. The funding will support expansion in deep tech markets and the addition of individual users.
Prismus aims to help businesses decide which emerging markets, partnerships and research directions to pursue. Lupa combines material drawn from patents, scientific research and market activity, making the information searchable. Its AI agents assess links across sources and rank companies, markets, researchers and prospective partners by technological fit.
The startup says Lupa offers insights that can be traced back to verifiable sources, helping companies identify commercial possibilities that conventional market research may miss. Prismus has attracted its first thirty paying customers.
Prismus's team includes co-founder and CEO Elisabeth Blyumin, CTO Timen van Gelderen, Chief AI Officer Gonçalo Hora de Carvalho and Chief Revenue Officer Peter Kempin. Blyumin said Venture Kick had challenged the company and pushed it into its next phase.
