TODAY raises €2.8 million to expand AI tools for financial advisers
The seed round was jointly led by High-Tech Gründerfonds and Insurtech Gateway. More than 3,500 advisers in the DACH region use the platform.

AI start-up TODAY has secured €2.8 million in seed financing to broaden its presence in the DACH region and add functions for financial and insurance advisers. The funding will support tools covering more of their front-office and back-office work.
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) co-led the investment alongside Insurtech Gateway. Other participants were Lucid Capital, Seed X and angel investors, among them Herbert Rogenhofer, former CEO of HDI, and Pierre Dubosq, founder of Tech11.
Michael Gackstatter and Artem Demchenkov established TODAY in 2024. It is building an AI-based system for managing sales work at banks, brokerages and insurers. Its agents can produce transcripts of client meetings, take incoming calls, carry out routine administrative tasks and provide sales coaching. The platform has more than 3,500 adviser users across DACH, including independent brokers as well as large insurers and distributors.
TODAY says users save an average of five hours of administrative work each week and can increase revenue by up to 10 per cent. It also claims the technology helps advisers extract around 50 times more insights from conversations with clients. Co-founder and CEO Michael Gackstatter said the aim was to let advisers devote more time to clients by handing administrative work to AI agents.
