Finnish deeptech company Vensum Power has secured €9 million in Series A financing to bring its power conversion platform into mass production and pursue applications in AI data centres. The company plans to begin mass production in 2027.

Lifeline Ventures co-led the round alongside Larsen & Toubro Group and Eviny Ventures. Following the investment, Vensum Power has raised a total of €15.2 million.

The company develops software-defined technology intended to limit electricity losses during power conversion. Its planned mass-production applications include charging for electric vehicles, energy storage and DC microgrids. Vensum Power says its approach allows converters to remain highly efficient as electrical loads change rapidly.

For AI data centres, the company aims to improve electricity delivery to computing equipment so operators can use existing power capacity more effectively. Chief executive Peter Nisula said the financing would support a shift from technology development to production at industrial scale, while creating opportunities in the data centre market.
